Health and Safety Executive

About the role

We are looking for an HR Health & Safety Executive to join our HR team in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The role leads HSE and security strategy and operations across all sites and departments, ensuring compliance with legal, corporate and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HSE & Security strategy and operations across all sites and departments.
• Ensure compliance with legal, corporate, ISO 45001, KORE and SGP requirements.
• Manage the Integrated Management System (IMS), including audits, reporting and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, training and awareness programs.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, workplace evaluations and incident investigations.
• Analyze HSE data, identify risks and trends, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide expert HSE support to departments, contractors and management.
• Oversee site security, access control, emergency preparedness and asset protection.
• Monitor HSE & Security KPIs and promote a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• University graduate.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety Engineer.
• Knowledge of statutory and legislative legal enactments regarding occupational safety.
• Understanding of basic technological processes of the enterprise and internal safety arrangements.
• English language skills at Upper‑Intermediate level.
