Restaurant Supervisor (Professional Kazakh and Russian Speaking)

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton in Astana is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor who is fluent in Kazakh and Russian to lead a team and ensure exceptional guest service. You will oversee daily operations, maintain standards, and support staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure staff work together as a team to meet guest needs and deliver optimum service.
• Inspect grooming, attire, and overall appearance of staff, correcting deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
• Monitor storage areas for organization, FIFO usage, and cleanliness; conduct inventories and requisition supplies.
• Oversee dining room seating, service quality, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and disciplining employees.
• Enforce company, safety, and security policies; report accidents and complete safety training.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in food and beverage or restaurant operations.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Professional proficiency in Kazakh and Russian languages.
