Food & Beverage Sales Executive

About the role

The Food & Beverage Sales Executive will support the Sales & Marketing team at a Marriott property in Astana, handling guest interactions, reservations, and revenue‑maximising sales techniques while maintaining brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Contact appropriate individuals or departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Use sales techniques to maximise revenue, up‑sell, and maintain guest loyalty.
• Process Marriott Rewards redemptions, reservations, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax or mail.
• Enter reservation and rewards information into the appropriate software.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, emailing, typing and faxing to support Sales & Marketing.
• Assist management in training and motivating employees and act as a role model.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in sales or hospitality.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Professional telephone etiquette and clear written communication.
• Ability to read and verify information in various formats.
• Physical ability to move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
