Financial Due Diligence Manager, Transaction Services (Deals)

About the role

The Financial Due Diligence Manager will lead buy‑side and sell‑side due diligence engagements, translating detailed analysis into clear transaction conclusions and recommendations for partners and clients. You will own day‑to‑day engagement management, guide junior team members, and ensure delivery against tight deal timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Plan workstreams, coordinate information requests, oversee databook workflow and ensure analysis meets scope requirements.
• Lead review of target performance, quality of earnings, working capital, cash flow, net debt and IFRS/GAAP issues.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior managers, directors, partners and clients, managing expectations under compressed timelines.
• Review and comment on databooks, write and present diligence reports, and manage engagement risks and mitigation actions.
• Participate in business development, contribute to proposals and help convert follow‑on work.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, advisory or M&A, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Mathematics; professional designation (ACCA, CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead complex deals, supervise multi‑team execution and drive conclusions under ambiguity.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and databook‑based analysis.
• Experience with analytics/visualisation tools such as Power BI or Alteryx.
• Comfort using AI‑powered assistants (e.g., Copilot, Harvey).
