Feature Game Designer (OneState)

About the role

ChillBase studio is looking for a Feature Game Designer for its OneState RP project. The designer turns the onboarding of new players into a compelling experience that keeps them engaged, working from concept through post-release support.

Key responsibilities

• Design the FTUE: onboarding, first sessions, early goals and new-player motivation
• Identify drop-off points in the funnel and address them with hypotheses, with impact visible in day-one retention
• Own features from concept through live operation: GDDs, UX wireframes, timelines and quality control
• Iterate based on analytics, player feedback and UX testing, and analyse onboarding experiences in other games

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in game design or system design
• Experience owning features from concept through post-release support
• Experience working with metrics such as funnels, dashboards, analytics requests and post-release insights
• Strong understanding of midcore and hardcore mobile F2P games, with a high degree of autonomy
• Ability to identify player and product pain points, propose initiatives and own them end-to-end

Required skills

• Ability to design UX flows and create interface wireframes
• Nice to have: ability to define the player experience (UX) and create UI layouts
• Nice to have: hands-on experience with RP projects, GTA-like games, social games or MMOs
• Nice to have: experience with Unity and online games
