Frontend Engineer (SuperApp)

About the role

indrive is looking for a Frontend Engineer (SuperApp) in Kazakhstan. The team builds internal and user-facing tools that power dynamic in-app content experiences driven by business rules and ML-based scoring models, sitting at the intersection of product engineering and data. The role is primarily mobile-focused but also involves web interfaces, internal tools and integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain functionality for the mobile application on iOS and Android
• Contribute to web interfaces and internal team tools
• Deliver end-to-end features with backend engineers, designers and product managers
• Integrate client applications with backend services, APIs and personalization systems
• Improve performance, stability and quality of mobile and web products
• Participate in client-side architecture design and write clean, maintainable, testable code
• Take part in code reviews and technical discussions, and resolve issues in development, testing and production

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience developing mobile apps for iOS and/or Android
• Good understanding of mobile architecture, application lifecycle, client-side performance and UX
• Willingness to work on web interfaces as part of the role

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
• REST API and/or GraphQL integration
• Testing principles, CI/CD and client delivery processes
• React and modern web frameworks are a plus; GitHub, Kubernetes and build/deployment tools are a plus
