Cook Lead

About the role

The Cook Lead is responsible for preparing high‑quality meals and ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly at our luxury property in Almaty. You will work closely with the Chef and service staff to deliver the Ritz‑Carlton Gold Standards in every dish.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, presentation, and food‑preparation checklists.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters, and maintain accurate food logs.
• Pull items from freezer, thaw safely, and ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish.
• Communicate menu specials, out‑of‑stock items and excess food to the Chef and service staff.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching as needed.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant culinary experience.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
