Capital Sales Manager – Pumps, Cyclones & Valves

About the role

Join FLSmidth’s Capital Sales Team to drive sales of mineral processing solutions, mine shaft systems and material handling equipment for greenfield and expansion projects. You will act as a business development lead in the region, building relationships with EPCM offices and key client headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies for project pursuits and maintain a qualified pipeline in the CRM platform.
• Engage with global key account management to provide local account support and present technical solutions.
• Stay informed on regional mining news, ensure FLSmidth visibility, and identify qualified opportunities.
• Manage complex proposal preparation, review, and handover to operations.

Required profile

• Degree or certification in Business, Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (preferred).
• 8+ years of successful sales or project delivery experience in the mining industry.
• Proven ability to interface with clients, develop project‑specific sales strategies and meet deadlines independently.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of mining project permitting, development, financing and execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint.
• Experience using CRM platforms for pipeline management.
