Audit Associate – Core Audit

About the role

PwC is seeking an Audit Associate to join its Core Audit team in Atyrau. You will work with a group of problem‑solvers to provide independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with regulations, helping clients enhance the credibility of their financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain reasonable assurance that financial statements are free from material misstatement due to fraud or error.
• Perform audit procedures, validate data, and analyze results for accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with team members, share evidence‑based feedback, and suggest improvements to existing processes.
• Follow risk‑management and compliance procedures and stay up‑to‑date with technical developments.

Required profile

• Higher education in accounting, finance, economics, or mathematics.
• GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4‑point scale.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team player with good communication, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel.
• Basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word.
