Transaction Services Internship

About the role

Join PwC's Transaction Services team in Almaty as an intern, supporting clients through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and restructurings. You will gain hands‑on experience in market analysis, financial research and client interaction while developing expertise in financial markets and platforms such as Bloomberg.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze market and client information to support decision‑making.
• Develop expertise in financial markets and e‑platforms, including Bloomberg.
• Conduct industry research and market analysis.
• Utilise Excel and PowerPoint daily to support projects and collaborate with the professional team.
• Participate in client meetings and prepare presentation materials.
• Enhance communication and presentation skills through client deliverables.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or graduate degree from a top university in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or statistics with a GPA of at least 3.3.
• Strong spoken and written Russian and English; Kazakh language ability is a plus.
• Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem‑structuring abilities.
• Willingness to take on new and challenging tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant experience is beneficial but not required.
