Senior Consultant – Risk Consulting (Financial Sector – Risk Management & ALM)

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Risk Consulting practice, focusing on financial‑sector clients across Central Asia. You will work on large‑scale transformations, risk‑function redesign, and Asset‑Liability Management (ALM) initiatives for banks and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement client solutions for risk management, ALM tools, FTP curves, ICAAP diagnostics and climate‑stress testing.
• Conduct research, analytical work, model building and prepare presentation materials for senior stakeholders.
• Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and promotion of EY expertise.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create knowledge bases and consulting tools.

Required profile

• Degree in finance, economics, mathematics, business or a technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in consulting or financial‑sector roles such as risk management, strategy, ALM, or finance.
• Strong understanding of the banking industry and related regulatory frameworks.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency and willingness to travel and work overtime.
