About the role

We are looking for a Manager‑Accountant to lead the Accounting and Reporting Department. The professional will be responsible for managing fixed‑asset, intangible‑asset and inventory accounting, tax reporting and electronic invoicing for a public organization in Kazakhstan.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile accounts for fixed assets (2410), intangible assets (2730) and inventory (1310), and prepare periodic inventory listings.
• Calculate depreciation for fixed and intangible assets and record amortisation.
• Account for services received from external organisations and manage receivables and payables, including regular reconciliations.
• Process commercial, marketing and other income‑related operations.
• Issue and receive electronic invoices via the Esf.gov.kz portal.
• Prepare and submit tax reports on VAT, environmental fees, income from sources, vehicle tax and other statutory obligations within legal deadlines.

Required profile

• Higher education (or postgraduate) in accounting, economics or finance.
• Certificates or professional qualifications in the relevant field.
• Minimum two years of experience in financial and accounting functions; at least one year if education was completed abroad.
• Familiarity with Kazakh legislation on taxation, labour, civil code and corporate governance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with electronic document management systems.
• Knowledge of accounting software and tax‑reporting applications.
• Ability to use electronic and internet banking platforms.
