Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

At PwC, the Corporate Tax Manager will lead tax consulting projects for external clients across various industries, delivering advice on tax planning, compliance and strategy while supporting business development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax memoranda and detailed tax reports for clients.
• Participate in tax reviews, due‑diligence and tax‑structuring projects.
• Manage the full client project cycle, including proposals, risk management, contracting, team organization, regular status reporting, technical quality assurance, client communication, billing and cash collection.
• Train and mentor staff, review and evaluate their work.
• Prepare newsletters and take part in technical trainings and client seminars.
• Build new client relationships and develop existing ones, demonstrating deep knowledge of client businesses.

Required profile

• Minimum 5‑6 years of experience in tax consulting.
• General knowledge of accounting and experience with accounting software such as 1C, Oracle or SAP.
• Proficient written and verbal English; fluency in Kazakh or Russian.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or ADIT are a plus.
