Quality Control Specialist

About the role

Sika Central Asia, part of the global Sika group with more than 100 years of history, is hiring a full-time quality control specialist in Atyrau. The role monitors the quality of finished products during production and keeps quality control documentation accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the quality of finished products during production and ensure quality control equipment operates properly.
• Carry out accurate measurements and analyses during the shift, following regulatory requirements for products and testing methods.
• Analyse product quality, investigate causes of deterioration and take corrective action.
• Maintain quality control documentation and logs, and check expired materials for suitability.
• Learn new measurement and testing methods and advanced testing tools, and set up the right temperature and humidity conditions for tests.
• Take part in analysing product returns and in maintaining electronic technical files in local systems such as SharePoint and AFON.
• Follow safety, occupational health and fire safety regulations, and perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Experienced PC user.
• Intermediate level of English.
