Construction Material Controller (MLC)

About the role

Met T&S, the global employment company of MAIRE group, is recruiting a Construction Material Controller for the Tengiz project in Kazakhstan. The role covers material management at site: collecting documents and certifications covering the arrival of materials, recording their movements and supplying the Site Control Manager with data needed to assess the feasibility of construction programmes. The starting date is from 01.08.2026.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange warehouse logistics according to the Site Manager's instructions.
• Manage information on material arrivals and availability at the warehouse, and coordinate shipping documentation and customs clearance.
• Manage receiving, checking, storage and preservation of materials, and the receiving, checking, recording and traceability of material certificates.
• Issue supply non-conformities and follow up their resolution, and initiate insurance claims for damaged materials and claims against vendors for missing or non-conforming goods.
• Provide the Site Planner with up-to-date material availability and inform the Site Control Manager of material status and delivery forecasts.
• Deliver materials to subcontractors according to their material lists and supervisor instructions, and record handling in corporate software systems.
• Analyse feasibility with the company software system and record surplus materials for possible sale at the end of the job.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of experience in a specific discipline, including similar roles on projects of comparable size.
• Fluent English.
