Business Intelligence Developer

About the role

Mellenu Holding, a European digital consumer lending company, is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer. The role involves working with business stakeholders on reporting needs, building data marts, writing SQL and preparing dashboards and KPIs, and taking part in international projects.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with business stakeholders to gather and analyse reporting requirements
• Develop data marts and take part in designing and improving the data warehouse architecture
• Develop reports in Power BI
• Automate and optimise business processes
• Write SQL scripts of varying complexity and optimise existing queries; Python may be used to automate and organise ETL processes
• Take part in international projects (Southeast Asia, India, Mexico)
• Prepare dashboards, metrics and KPIs to support decision-making

Required profile

• Graduate with a mathematics or technical background
• 2+ years of experience as an analyst or BI developer
• Intermediate or higher level of English (B1+)
• Currently residing in Kazakhstan with the legal right to work there

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of SQL (high level)
• Experience with data-mining and business intelligence tools such as SQL and PostgreSQL
• Experience with data warehouses and ETL workflows
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Desirable: Power BI, Python, and an understanding of digital lending and fintech
