Regional Manager

About the role

Jetisu Digital, a regional IT hub within the Astana Hub ecosystem, is seeking a proactive Regional Manager to coordinate its activities in Taldykorgan. This position offers the chance to shape the local tech, education, and startup landscape while supporting regional Astana Hub initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate educational programs, events, and startup initiatives.
• Engage with partners, speakers, participants, and local communities.
• Support the implementation of Astana Hub programs in the region.
• Attract participants and startups to hub opportunities.
• Monitor activities, collect data, and prepare regular reports.
• Contribute ideas for new projects, partnerships, and community formats.
• Represent Jetisu Digital at meetings and regional events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, IT, Marketing, Communications, Education, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, operations, community or event management, business development, or a related area.
• Proven ability to manage projects from planning through implementation and reporting.
• Experience working with external partners such as government institutions, educational organizations, businesses, or technology companies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Kazakh and Russian; intermediate English proficiency.
• Strong independent work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities.
