QA Engineer – Ops Tech

About the role

You will ensure stable releases across multiple OPS Tech streams by owning testing quality for complex processes, integrations, and rapid product changes. The role involves both manual and automated testing of web applications, APIs, databases, and backend services within a Creatio‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Test web applications built on Creatio and run manual and automated testing across APIs, databases, backend services, and integrations.
• Extend and maintain the existing Kotlin‑based automation framework by adding new tests following established patterns.
• Own end‑to‑end quality for your product area, validating APIs, backend integrations, business rules, and data consistency.
• Analyze logs, database records, and system behavior to identify, reproduce, and document defects.
• Participate in technical reviews, sprint planning, grooming, and requirements discussions to shape testing approach and clarify acceptance criteria.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in QA automation for backend/API‑focused systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience in manual testing of web applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Ability to write and run SQL queries for data validation.
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC and testing types such as smoke, regression, functional, and integration.
