IT Procurement Specialist

About the role

Social Discovery Group is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist to manage the full procurement lifecycle for SaaS and cloud services, as well as hardware assets. The role combines vendor management, financial analysis, and cloud cost optimization in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end sourcing, contract negotiation and vendor relationship management for SaaS, cloud (AWS, GCP, OpenAI) and hardware suppliers.
• Oversee invoice processing, 3‑way matching, payment scheduling and dispute resolution.
• Prepare monthly “Plan vs. Actual” reports, conduct variance analysis and support cash‑flow forecasting.
• Monitor cloud spend, identify under‑utilized resources and recommend rightsizing or commitment‑based discounts.
• Maintain a global IT asset register, forecast hardware refresh cycles and control budget for equipment procurement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and vendor management for IT/SaaS products.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including OPEX/CAPEX budgeting and variance reporting.
• Knowledge of FinOps principles, cloud cost structures and savings plans.
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes and 3‑way invoice matching.
• Experience with IT asset management and inventory control systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and ERP platforms.
• Fluent in Russian and English (B2 or higher).
