Regional Internal Audit Manager

About the role

The Regional Internal Audit Manager will lead and coordinate internal audit activities across the assigned region, covering multiple countries and business operations such as metals and mining, ports, logistics and construction. The role assesses regional risks, manages audit engagements, monitors remediation actions and provides independent assurance on governance, risk management and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate internal audit engagements across the region, ensuring execution follows Group methodology and standards.
• Assess financial, operational, compliance and strategic risks and contribute to Group risk assessment and audit planning.
• Develop and manage regional audit schedules based on business risks and operational developments.
• Identify control weaknesses, recommend corrective actions and monitor remediation progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; master’s degree or professional certification (CIA, CPA, CISA) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of internal audit experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience coordinating audit activities across multiple entities or countries within a region.
• Experience in a multinational industrial group, preferably in metals, mining, ports, logistics, energy or infrastructure.

Required skills

• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA or CISA.
• Data analytics and technology‑risk assessment capabilities.
• Knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk management and governance frameworks.
