Anti-Fraud Analyst

About the role

You will own fraud and abuse detection across cashback, credit, promo, and referral mechanics, building monitoring that keeps these programs profitable and safe for a fast‑growing fintech.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor transactions and customer behavior across loyalty, cashback, credit, and referral products to identify emerging abuse patterns.
• Build and maintain SQL/Python‑based reports and monitoring dashboards for large transactional datasets.
• Form and test hypotheses on potential abuse schemes, investigate flagged cases, and assess their financial impact.
• Calculate economics of each case—potential losses, revenue impact, and cost of abuse—to prioritize remediation.
• Collaborate with risk, product, and business teams to close gaps by proposing changes to product terms, promo rules, or cashback mechanics.
• Translate every closed case into a permanent alert or trigger and regularly revisit past cases to ensure patterns do not return.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience investigating and preventing abuse in banking or financial programs such as cashback, credit lines, promotions, or loyalty schemes.
• Proven ability to build continuous monitoring systems rather than one‑off analyses.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of turning hypotheses into operational monitoring solutions.
