Senior Manager – Banking Digital Transformation (Strategy & FS Consulting)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead banking digital transformation initiatives within our Financial Services Consulting practice. The role focuses on redesigning business processes, improving customer journeys, and shaping operating models for retail, SME, corporate, and digital banking.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end business transformation projects for banks, defining target operating models, business cases and implementation roadmaps.
• Redesign core banking processes such as onboarding, lending, servicing and collections, and develop functional requirements and customer journey maps.
• Support product and channel strategy development, including CRM‑enabled sales, digital onboarding and data‑driven engagement.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for core banking, CRM, digital channels, AI and data platforms.
• Manage complex workstreams, facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders and mentor consulting teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, banking or financial services, with a strong track record in digital transformation.
• Proven ability to work with senior business stakeholders and lead large‑scale transformation programmes.
• Fluency in Russian, Kazakh and English (minimum B1‑B2 level).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; MBA is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with core banking platforms such as Temenos, FLEXCUBE, Diasoft, NeoFlex or Colvir.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and digital banking solutions.
• Understanding of AI and data platform integration in banking contexts.
• Ability to define functional requirements and high‑level solution implications.
• Strong stakeholder management and team leadership capabilities.
