Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the migration of multiple services to the cloud. The role offers flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Kazakhstan or from our offices in Astana, Almaty or Karaganda.

Key responsibilities

• Automate Terraform-based environment provisioning.
• Build containerization and Amazon EKS deployment pipelines.
• Implement FinOps controls across cloud environments.
• Set up observability for applications using tools such as Datadog.
• Manage Oracle‑to‑PostgreSQL migrations with Liquibase.
• Maintain and support Linux‑based infrastructure and configure GitLab/DX1 pipelines.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering.
• Strong expertise in Ansible, GitLab and Linux.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL.
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
