Marketing Team Leader – Central Asia (Agricultural Solutions)

About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Team Leader to drive BASF’s Agricultural Solutions portfolio across Central Asia and the Caucasus. Based in Almaty, you will shape crop strategies, lead market development and support sales growth in a fast‑changing agricultural landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement crop and portfolio strategies for Central Asia and the Caucasus in close collaboration with sales and technical teams.
• Identify market opportunities, define development priorities and drive profitable portfolio growth.
• Lead marketing initiatives, including communication, advertising and promotional activities, to increase market share and profitability.
• Analyse market dynamics, customer needs, competitor actions and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Participate in European and APE crop‑management teams to align regional plans with global priorities.
• Ensure compliance with BASF’s internal policies, ethical standards and local legislation.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in agricultural or related marketing roles.
• Strong understanding of crop science, portfolio management and market development.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with sales, technical and global teams.
