Customer Activation Manager

About the role

Customer Activation Manager, Kazakhstan is responsible for defining and developing the main growth and profit opportunities between Mars, customers and shoppers in Kazakhstan retail channels, translating brand strategies into integrated activity plans and driving the secondary display agenda. The role also leads Mars Snacking business development through deep understanding of market and channel trends, activity development and execution, and secondary display expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead activation strategies in line with customer and consumer trends, collaborating with Brand, Display and Sales functions.
• Monitor and manage Customer Activation volumes (BBs) and budget (CP) for the market.
• Align activities with stakeholders, conduct post‑launch reviews, continuously improve based on learnings and update the best‑practice library.
• Participate in negotiations with key customers regarding activity calendars and secondary display expansion plans.
• Create secondary display expansion plans tailored to channel and customer needs in partnership with the Display team.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years experience in sales, trade/customer/shopper marketing or brand marketing within FMCG or a key retailer.
• Upper‑intermediate proficiency in English and Russian.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (MS/IOS office programs).
• Proven ability to drive results and engage stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to balance stakeholder interests.
