Finance & Operations Coordinator

About the role

Roche Kazakhstan is looking for a Finance & Operations Coordinator to ensure financial and operational efficiency. The role bridges local operations with the Roche Shared Services Centre in Budapest, handling accounting, tax compliance and procurement coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between Roche Kazakhstan and the Shared Services Centre for all accounting matters.
• Monitor and ensure accurate and timely financial postings, including journal entries, accruals and reclassifications.
• Review and validate financial reports to meet local and corporate accounting standards.
• Coordinate compliance with Kazakhstan tax regulations (VAT, CIT, WHT) and support tax filings and audits.
• Assist month‑end and year‑end closing processes, resolve discrepancies and provide documentation.
• Partner with product, medical and commercial teams to deliver financial insights, build models for product performance, pricing and launch planning.
• Prepare business cases, budgets and forecasts, translating financial data for non‑finance stakeholders.
• Act as point of contact for local procurement, ensuring alignment with global policies, vendor onboarding and contract compliance.
• Support tender processes, vendor selection, negotiation input and monitor procurement KPIs for cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing required data and explanations.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating financial activities between local entities and a shared services centre.
• Knowledge of Kazakhstan tax regulations (VAT, CIT, WHT) and related compliance.
• Ability to work with auditors, tax advisors and cross‑functional product teams.
