Workplace Experience Lead

About the role

Join PMI’s transformation journey as a Workplace Experience Lead, shaping a safe, modern and human‑centred environment for employees across Kazakhstan. You will drive the strategy for office, regional and hybrid workspaces, ensuring collaboration, engagement and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Workplace Experience strategy for the head office in Almaty and regional sites.
• Lead complex real‑estate projects, including construction, renovations, relocations, leasing and disposal.
• Prepare business cases, secure CapEx approvals and manage end‑to‑end project budgets.
• Oversee building operations, maintenance, compliance with local regulations and vendor performance.
• Control the Workplace Experience budget, monitor costs, initiate PR/PO processes and drive cost‑optimisation.
• Manage tendering, contracts and vendor relationships in partnership with Procurement.
• Supervise facility management, office services, catering, wellbeing and travel logistics.
• Ensure travel and relocation activities comply with Kazakhstan legislation and PMI policies.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, including Real Estate, Sustainability and other HQ functions.
• Lead benchmarking, employee listening initiatives and continuous improvement of workplace services.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
• Extensive experience in workplace/facility management, administrative management, project management, procurement or finance within a multinational environment.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale budgets, complex CapEx projects and multiple service providers.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives, manage multiple priorities and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
• Excellent planning, negotiation and analytical skills with a strong customer‑service orientation.
