Trade Operations Specialist

About the role

Citi is hiring a Trade Operations Specialist in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The specialist ensures that client transactions are processed efficiently and accurately, in line with internal and external requirements. The role calls for careful attention to detail, strict adherence to regulatory mandates and constant interaction with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Process client transactions (order entry, trade confirmation, settlement processing) on time and accurately, and verify the correctness and completeness of related documentation.
• Work with counterparties and internal departments to make sure transactions run smoothly.
• Respond promptly to client questions within the agreed service levels, resolve transaction issues and keep professional, courteous communication with clients.
• Follow all corporate policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements, and take part in audits and reviews.
• Carry out the direct manager's assignments on time and communicate proactively about progress and risks.
• Help improve operational processes, work with departments such as Compliance, Risk Management and IT, and help train new team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow regulatory and internal procedures.
