Senior Contract Manager

About the role

The Senior Contract Manager will lead the safe, compliant and commercially controlled delivery of a joint‑venture contract providing mechanical maintenance, turnaround, brownfield and minor modification services. Reporting to the JV Board and Operations Director, the role combines contract leadership, client interface and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead routine maintenance, campaign works, turnarounds, brownfield projects and minor modifications against KPIs, schedules and budgets.
• Act as the accountable senior representative of the contract‑specific JV and establish governance, reporting and escalation processes.
• Provide senior oversight of mechanical maintenance, piping, valves, bolting, vessels, exchangers, static and rotating equipment.
• Oversee turnaround planning, work preparation, mobilisation, execution, demobilisation and close‑out, including work packs, permits, isolations and SIMOPS.
• Deliver visible HSE leadership, ensure compliance with client and local regulations, and manage incident investigations.
• Manage contract financials, forecasting, invoicing, productivity monitoring, commercial reporting and cost variance control.

Required profile

• Extensive on‑shore/off‑shore oil and gas maintenance and turnaround experience, preferably in Kazakhstan or the Caspian region.
• Proven leadership in joint‑venture environments and strong client‑interface skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive HSE performance and ensure operational integrity.
• Solid commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, margin management and change control.
