Senior Accountant

About the role

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out accounting in compliance with local legislation and internal guidelines.
• Support the Chief Accountant in tax management, including VAT control and tax register preparation.
• Manage AP & AR ledgers, including SNT and e‑invoice issuing, customer and vendor reconciliations, and bank payment processes.
• Oversee T&E reporting and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Assist with monthly and annual IFRS closing, checking entries, collecting information, and posting manual adjustments.
• Perform balance reconciliations with external counterparties and cooperate with Accounting Shared Services.
• Support day‑to‑day transaction processing, month‑end close, and annual audit preparation.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, accounting or economics.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Fluency in Kazakh and Russian; English at upper‑intermediate level or higher.

Required skills

• SAP (essential).
• MS Office.
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
