Sales Manager – Power Generation

About the role

The Sales Manager will develop, manage, and maintain business relationships with assigned accounts across the region, supporting Cummins PowerGen’s sales strategy. Working closely with the regional sales team, you will expand existing customer relationships and execute account sales plans for spare parts and services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle for spare parts and services, from RFQs to quotations and long‑term maintenance contracts.
• Develop and maintain the dealer sales network, ensuring alignment with corporate sales targets.
• Prepare generator set configurations based on customer requirements and application needs.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and positioning strategies.
• Track opportunities in Salesforce CRM, ensuring data accuracy, forecasting, and reporting.
• Negotiate proposals, terms, and conditions, and resolve customer disputes.
• Measure customer satisfaction, create action plans, and drive loyalty through the Customer Support Excellence program.
• Compile forecasts and sales plans for repair services and deliver annual operation plans.

Required profile

• Proven sales or account‑management experience in mining, oil & gas, power generation, or heavy‑machinery industries.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to develop technical proposals.
• Experience managing dealer networks and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Ability to analyse market data and develop competitive cost models.
