Sales Director – Water Treatment (Caspian Region)

About the role

Veolia Group, a global leader in environmental services, is seeking a Sales Director for its Water Technology Business in the Caspian region. The role is accountable for functional, business and company objectives, integrating processes, managing complex issues and leading a team of Area Sales Managers to achieve sales and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the sales area and supporting teams across the assigned geography.
• Set and achieve sales and profitability targets, preparing annual forecasts in collaboration with Area Managers.
• Define individual sales objectives for team members and monitor performance quarterly.
• Allocate team time efficiently between sales, service and administrative activities.
• Deliver accurate sales reporting and support technical support management as required.
• Analyse sales reports, take corrective actions and coach team members for talent development.
• Contribute ideas for strategic planning and ensure compliance with Veolia quality, integrity and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in water treatment sales and marketing, with high independence in managing customer portfolios.
• Strong technical expertise in water and process treatment, with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work safely without supervision.
• Demonstrated coaching, people‑management and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in English and Russian, with additional language skills considered a plus.
