Regional Finance Controller – Reporting & Budget Management

About the role

Metso is seeking a Regional Finance Controller to join its finance expert team. You will be responsible for delivering accurate monthly management reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring data integrity across ERP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reporting on orders, revenue and cost, including data collection, validation and variance analysis.
• Load data into the corporate reporting system and collaborate with accounting and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Work with ERP solutions (1C, SAP) to extract data, configure reporting processes and improve efficiency.
• Develop analytical outputs using Excel and Power BI, and perform regular reconciliation of order backlogs.
• Assist in budget preparation and periodic forecasts, update calculation models and analyse changes.
• Monitor budget execution, compare actuals to plan and forecast, and provide explanatory comments.

Required profile

• Intermediate English proficiency (minimum).
• University degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• At least 3 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis or management accounting.
• Strong financial analysis skills (P&L, margin, OPEX/CAPEX, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, basic modelling).
• Power BI for reporting and data visualisation.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically 1C and SAP.
