About the role

Airbus Helicopters Kazakhstan Engineering is seeking a Qualified Mechanic to join its flight line team in the Astana area. The role involves maintaining and repairing helicopters, ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of aircraft structures, power plants, and mechanical systems using appropriate test equipment.
• Interpret and apply Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Engine Manuals, and Structural Repair Manuals in technical English.
• Fabricate and replace airframe components, operate micrometers, rivet guns, power and hand drills, and other heavy tools.

Required profile

• Higher or secondary aviation education (Aviation technology, engine operation) with at least 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience, or 5 years of experience with a technical education.
• Valid aircraft maintenance license is preferred.
• Ability to work on helicopter types maintained by the partnership and handle heavy-duty repair tasks.
