B1/B2 Mechanic – Permanent Position in Kazakhstan

About the role

This permanent position is based at the KAZ Air Force Military Base in Almaty, Kazakhstan. You will work as part of an Airbus Resident team within the A400M MRO Network, performing and certifying scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on the A400M aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and certify both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks agreed with the customer.
• Supervise and certify work performed by non‑licensed mechanics.
• Manage small groups of non‑licensed mechanics during maintenance activities.
• Contribute to the development of working processes and practices for the new advanced military transport aircraft.

Required profile

• EASA Part‑66 license (mandatory).
• Desirable military background and PERAM‑145 license.
• Experience in MRO on modern digital aircraft such as A380 or A350.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
• Advanced English; Russian/Kazakh negotiation level; Spanish advanced is a plus.
