Partner Acquisition and Activation Officer

About the role

ApplyBoard connects international students, student advisors and educational institutions on a personalised platform. It is looking for an energetic Partner Acquisition and Activation Officer in Almaty to grow the business through strategic partnerships and smooth onboarding. You will identify and recruit high-potential recruitment agents (RPs) and bring them into the ApplyBoard network.

Key responsibilities

• Promote ApplyBoard as an ambassador to potential recruitment partners and help them understand the brand.
• Increase partner sign-ups and find new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, WhatsApp and LinkedIn.
• Identify and qualify the needs of potential partners and build lasting relationships.
• Research local international student agents and agencies to target outreach.
• Schedule and run onboarding sessions, train partners on the platform and give ongoing support.
• Update the Sales Manager/Director regularly on activities, leads and pipeline status using CRM tools (Salesforce).
• Improve partner usage and student applications through training on best practices.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of proven experience in sales or a similar role.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain ApplyBoard's value proposition clearly.
• Competitive drive combined with strong relationship-building skills.
• Good organisational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with educational consultants or postsecondary institutions is a plus.
