Network Engineer L2/L3 – CCIE/CCNP Certified

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer (L2/L3) to join our team in Kazakhstan. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting complex carrier‑grade networks using Cisco routing and switching platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, test, and troubleshoot Cisco router and switch solutions.
• Lead high‑level and low‑level network design workshops for customers.
• Develop and maintain hybrid network architectures that include MPLS, Metro Ethernet, VPLS, and VPRN services.
• Drive innovations to reduce ticket volume and improve service quality.
• Provide on‑call and night‑shift support as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of core networking experience.
• CCIE and/or CCNP certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with engineers, executives, and customers.
• Proven consulting and client‑facing abilities, including cross‑functional influence.
• Willingness to work night shifts and handle customer sentiment.

Required skills

• Cisco ASR 920, ASR 903, NCS 55A2, ASR9K routers.
• LAN Switching and WAN technologies.
• Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, ISIS.
• IP/MPLS, QoS, Traffic Engineering, Multicast.
• VPNs, IPv6, Metro Ethernet, VPLS, VPRN.
• Scripting with Python and Perl.
• CCIE certification.
• CCNP certification.
