Network Engineer – Connectivity Specialist

About the role

The Connectivity Engineer will be the on‑site expert at the client’s factory, acting as the primary point of contact for all connectivity‑related issues. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless equipment connections and robust network cabling, leveraging deep knowledge of network operations for troubleshooting and incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage IT network, telecommunication, and on‑premise server infrastructure (≈70% network, 20% server, 10% other IT duties).
• Design logical network architectures and physical layouts for network and server environments.
• Implement security patching schedules and policies for network and hosting equipment.
• Monitor network status, capacity, and performance proactively.
• Coordinate with vendors, service partners, and data‑cabling providers on operational issues.
• Lead or participate in global and local IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field (or current study in a similar discipline).
• 2–3 years of experience in infrastructure network or telecom environments.
• Strong understanding of network and hosting hardware, virtualization (Hyper‑V), and IT service management (ITIL).
• Ability to create high‑level and low‑level network diagrams and documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Cisco LAN/WLAN/WAN technologies.
• VLAN implementation and management.
• ITIL methodology and ServiceNow (SNOW) experience.
• Network security policy implementation (Cisco, Palo Alto).
• Server virtualization with Hyper‑V.
• CCNA certification (preferred) and other networking/firewall certifications.
• Network diagramming (HLD/LLD) and documentation.
