Marketing Manager

About the role

IT-GRAD, a leading Kazakh provider of cloud and infrastructure services, is creating its first local marketing function in Almaty. As Marketing Manager you will build the brand’s presence from the ground up, shaping strategy, positioning and supporting sales across the IaaS, BaaS, Disaster Recovery and Object Storage portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive local marketing plan, define brand positioning and tone of voice for the Kazakhstan market.
• Collaborate with product teams to adapt service bundles and offers to local customer needs.
• Support the sales organization by crafting value propositions, preparing sales collateral and argumentation.
• Plan and execute events, webinars and participation in industry conferences.
• Build and nurture relationships with local partners, professional communities and media outlets.
• Generate and manage offline and partner lead‑generation activities, set targets for digital leads.
• Create content, local case studies and coordinate design and digital teams.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis, maintain a CRM‑based client database.
• Manage the marketing budget and track performance metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in IT or cloud technologies.
• Proven track record of independently leading marketing projects and organizing events.
• Strong understanding of product marketing and digital‑marketing principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high autonomy.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical value simply.
• Good knowledge of the Kazakhstan market; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
• University degree in Marketing, Business or IT.
