Lead QA Engineer with VoIP/SIP stack

About the role

We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to drive quality assurance for our Net2Phone UCaaS platform. You will join a Scrum team, shape test strategies, and ensure reliable VoIP/SIP services for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate within a Scrum team and maintain all related artefacts.
• Write detailed test cases in TestRail and automate them using Java‑based frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines (Jenkins) for every deployment.
• Develop automation for calling functionality and orchestrate multi‑layer quality gateways.
• Build and execute Jenkins deployments across all environments.
• Identify, communicate, and escalate product quality issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of QA automation experience with a strong focus on backend and API testing.
• 2+ years hands‑on experience testing VoIP/SIP protocols, call flows, and media streams.
• Upper‑Intermediate (B2) English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills using network analysis tools.

Required skills

• Java 11/17, JUnit5, TestNG, Gradle.
• TestRail, Jenkins, Jira.
• SIP and SIP Load framework for traffic emulation.
• Wireshark, tcpdump, Linux command line.
• REST, JSON, gRPC, API & Microservices automation.
• Optional: JMeter, Gatling, SIPp, Docker, WireMock.
