Field Representative Development Program

About the role

The Field Representative Development Program is a 1‑2 year launchpad into a high‑impact career at Caterpillar, combining hands‑on experience, world‑class training, and exposure to Cat® dealers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a 3‑month immersive training covering Caterpillar products, services, industry strategies, and communication skills.
• Participate in rotational assignments (12‑18 months) across the organization, working on strategic projects and gaining technical and commercial expertise.
• After graduation, step into a field‑based role supporting Cat dealers and customers, either as a Marketing and Sales Operations Representative or Technical Representative.

Required profile

• Degree in STEM, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and live abroad for up to 3 months.
• Fluent English and a valid passport through May 2027.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office / O365, including advanced Excel and Power BI for data visualization.
• Strong digital and data literacy to leverage tools for decision‑making.
