About the role
Our Services team supports global rail customers with vision, acoustic and thermal monitoring solutions. As a Field Engineer you will install, maintain and troubleshoot equipment on‑site, ensuring safety and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure and maintain machine‑vision, acoustic and thermal equipment at customer sites.
- Perform site monitoring, record mechanical failures and diagnose technical issues.
- Maintain service records, update databases and complete required paperwork.
- Provide customer training on equipment use and maintenance.
- Conduct annual calibration, preventive maintenance and safety inspections following railway regulations.
- Travel within the assigned region to perform warranty repairs, break‑fix analysis and remote system monitoring.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s technical education or equivalent with 1–2 years field experience.
- Strong customer service skills, both phone and on‑site.
- Willingness to travel up to 75 % of the time and legal authorization to work in Kazakhstan.
- Ability to work in rail environments, including track walking, confined spaces and inclement weather.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
Required skills
- Use of mechanical tools (wrenches, drill, heavy‑duty tools).
- Electronics test equipment (multimeter, RJ45 cable tester, oscilloscope).
- Computer applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
