About the role
Nazarbayev University's Chemistry Department is looking for energetic, hardworking and intelligent researchers to join an experimental project focused on detecting clinical biomarkers using surface-enhanced spectroscopy. The project is based at the Chemistry Department in Astana and runs during 2025-2026, with a possible extension.
Required profile
- Background in Chemistry (Biology or Physics may also be considered)
- Master's degree in Chemistry preferred; Bachelor's degree holders may also be considered
- Experience working in a chemistry lab
- Knowledge of English is preferable but not required
Required skills
- Experience with MATLAB and/or Python programming is preferred but not required
What we offer
- Salary of approximately 460,000 KZT per month before taxes for qualified candidates
