Engineering Coordinator

About the role

The Engineering Coordinator supports the engineering department by coordinating maintenance requests, scheduling repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and company policies. This role works closely with multiple departments to keep facilities operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with other departments via telecommunications devices to respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues.
• Schedule major system shutdowns, repairs, and improvements in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Maintain purchase order logs, file orders after payment, and verify that orders match packing slips.
• Follow all company safety, security, and environmental policies, reporting hazards, accidents, and storing flammable materials properly.
• Provide professional guest service, assist individuals with disabilities, and uphold a clean, uniform appearance.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, answer phones with proper etiquette, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related engineering or facilities coordination experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
