Director, Private Client Advisory – Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan

About the role

Blacktower Street is looking for an entrepreneurial private‑client professional to lead its advisory business in either Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan. The Director will build a high‑net‑worth client portfolio within an independent international platform, leveraging an existing network and market knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Blacktower Street’s private‑client business in the chosen market through systematic business‑development and networking.
• Establish and maintain relationships with HNW/UHNW individuals, family offices and qualified investors.
• Identify client needs related to investments, capital structuring and succession planning.
• Coordinate tailored advisory solutions and periodic portfolio reviews with investment specialists and licensed partners.
• Uphold high standards of integrity, confidentiality, regulatory discipline and client service.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of successful experience in private banking, wealth management or VIP banking with a leading institution in Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan.
• Proven track record of acquiring and developing relationships with high‑net‑worth private clients.
• Deep knowledge of the local financial market and an established professional network.
• Understanding of investment instruments, portfolio construction and international wealth‑management solutions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Fluency in Russian and in Kazakh or Uzbek; English proficiency is a significant advantage.
