About the role

The Digital Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to senior business and DIT stakeholders, influencing data‑driven decisions and shaping the five‑year DIT strategy. Based in Atyrau, the role balances value creation, cost optimisation and risk management across a multi‑million‑dollar investment portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage strategic relationships with business and DIT directors, providing data‑based counsel.
• Co‑develop and regularly update a 5‑year DIT strategic plan aligned with business priorities and KPIs.
• Oversee an annual investment portfolio of USD 3‑5 million, building business cases and managing the value‑creation pipeline.
• Ensure a balance between new value generation, cost optimisation and risk mitigation within the DIT portfolio.
• Coordinate cross‑functional DIT teams to deliver secure, reliable, cost‑effective operations in line with SLA commitments.
• Drive technology adoption, maximise ROI from existing systems, data and past investments.
• Promote innovation through agile methods, prototyping, design thinking and a fail‑fast culture.
• Leverage business analytics, market insights and performance metrics to shape strategy and competitive advantage.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of senior‑level experience in the oil‑and‑gas sector.
• At least 4 years of experience delivering digital projects or related analytical work (preferred).
• Additional business education is a plus.
• English proficiency at least Intermediate (B1‑B2).
