Associate to Audit – Competency Center

About the role

As an Associate in the PwC Competency Centre, you will join a diverse client portfolio and develop specialist audit knowledge from day one. Working primarily from our Almaty hub, you will leverage cutting‑edge technologies to support high‑quality, efficient audit engagements across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assurance services for financial statement audits, including bank audits.
• Validate the accuracy of financial information and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Collaborate with audit teams to apply PwC best practices, testing strategies, and standardisation initiatives.
• Utilise innovative tools and technologies to enhance audit efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, finance, economics, STEM or related fields.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4‑point scale (or equivalent).
• Full‑time availability and strong commitment to a career in audit.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Team player with good communication, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of IFRS and Kazakhstani accounting standards is a plus.
