Associate – Strategy Consulting

About the role

PwC’s Strategy& team in Almaty is looking for an Associate to support clients in the financial services sector. You will work alongside senior consultants to translate strategic ideas into actionable solutions and measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market and industry research to identify key business trends and formulate recommendations.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to uncover improvement opportunities.
• Build financial and business models that inform strategic and operational decisions.
• Prepare reports and presentations for client stakeholders.
• Assist in the design, testing and implementation of new business processes.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver client‑facing deliverables.

Required profile

• University degree in a business‑related field.
• At least one year of experience in financial services, banking, insurance, asset management, fintech or management consulting.
• Understanding of financial services products and industry dynamics is a plus.
• Fluent in Kazakh or Russian and English (spoken and written).
• Proficient with PC applications, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
