Assistant (Cost Controller & Admin) – Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Assistant to support our operations in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The role focuses primarily on cost controlling while also handling a range of administrative tasks. You will work in a fast‑moving environment, taking ownership of multiple responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, track, and control operational costs.
• Manage cash flow and maintain accurate expense records, including cash transactions.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure cost efficiency and transparency.
• Handle office setup and day‑to‑day operations such as office rental, housing, purchasing, and related arrangements.
• Support visa, legal, and relocation processes.
• Coordinate with local vendors and service providers.
• Take full ownership of administrative tasks until dedicated support is in place.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in administration, operations, accounting, purchasing, cost control, or a related field.
• Based in or willing to relocate/work in Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan.
• Strong understanding of the local culture and an existing network of vendors, housing, and local services.
• Comfortable handling cash‑based transactions, including salary and vendor payments.
• Hands‑on, hardworking, and ready to take ownership of diverse tasks.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
