Assistant Accountant

About the role

The Assistant Accountant will support Yutong's Kazakhstan operations by maintaining daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts with clients and suppliers, and assisting in the preparation of internal and external reports.

Key responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations with clients and suppliers, analyze outstanding advances, overpayments and debts, and ensure proper documentation.
• Handle daily financial operations including bank payments, primary document processing, counterpart calculations, advance reports, and foreign currency transfers.
• Assist in the preparation of materials for internal and external reporting, audits, and head‑office requests, highlighting significant accounting and tax issues.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with Kazakh tax legislation.

Required profile

• Higher education in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in accounting or finance, with practical knowledge of Kazakh tax law.
• Professional proficiency in Russian and either Chinese or English for correspondence with the head office.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving complex accounting issues.

Required skills

• Proficient use of 1C accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Competent use of Microsoft Word.
